Sander Van Der Linden is an Award-winning social psychologist and author of the book; FOOLPROOF: Why We Fall for Misinformation and How to Build Immunity, which was named one of Nature's Top Science Books and recipient of the Best Book Prize from the British Psychological Society. He is among the top 1% of highly cited social scientists worldwide and his research interests center around the social influence and persuasion process, particularly how people are influenced by misinformation and gain resistance to manipulation through psychological inoculation. He is also interested in the psychology of conspiracy theories, extremism, & radicalization. He co-developed the viral Bad News game which teaches millions of people how to spot online manipulation.
