Here are some essential things to know before you arrive:

Assign Your Pass

Log in here using your email, then head to the My Passes section in your dashboard.

Select the pass you want to assign, enter the attendee’s details, and click Assign Pass. They’ll receive an email with next steps.

Download the official SXSW London app, available from Google Play and App Store.

Complete Your APP Profile

Create your App profile using the email linked to your booking. This email is your login and gives you access to premium networking features.

Sustainability

We know that our travel emissions, from both staff and attendees, will likely be our largest cause of carbon emissions. When choosing to travel to SXSW London, please consider lower carbon travel options such as train or coach and consider offsetting your travel emissions with Onboard Earth.

Pass Pickup on site

You can collect your pass, or wristband, at the following locations and times.

Note: Final entry for Pass collection is 30 minutes before closing time. Allow enough time to collect your badge before your first event, and be sure to check our Sunday opening hours.

To collect your badge or wristband, please bring:

A valid photo ID (matching the name on your registration)
Your QR code from the registration confirmation — printed or on your phone

Both, ID and QR code are required for collection. We are unable to issue badges or wristbands without verifying your identity.

We accept one of the following forms of valid photo ID:

Government-issued passport
National ID card or driver’s license

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Lounges & Services

Connections Lounge presented by SkyGlass is located in Truman Brewery, T1, open to all attendees with refreshments available. Open from from 9.30 am - 5.30 pm

Startup Village Lounge: located in Shoreditch Electric, the Generating Chamber offers seating areas to relax or work. Open from 9.30 am - 5 pm

Sensory Rooms - Quiet space located in Shoreditch Town Hall

Platinum Lounge presented by Coinbase

Located in Café 1001 is open to all Platinum pass holders with refreshments and daily mixer events. Opens from 9.30 am - 5.30 pm

Getting To and Around East London

LONDON TUBE

The closest tube stations to Shoreditch are Liverpool Street Station (Central, Hammersmith & City, and Circle Lines), which is a 10-15 minute walk to Shoreditch, Old Street (Northern Line), or Shoreditch High Street Station (on the Overground).

LONDON OVERGROUND

Shoreditch High Street Station is on the London Overground line, offering easy access from stations like Whitechapel and Hoxton and the station is step-free.

CYCLE

Shoreditch is bike-friendly, with dedicated cycle lanes and bike-sharing options like Lime Bikes - including E Scooters - and Santander Cycles available throughout East London and across the entire city.

BUS

Numerous bus routes serve Shoreditch, with stops at Shoreditch High Street and Old Street stations.

TAXI

Hail a famous London Black Cab, available to book via the Gett app, or book a taxi ride via services like Uber or Bolt. Give the driver a specific venue within the festival to deliver you at.

PARKING IN SHOREDITCH

There is limited parking as we’re in central London, we would advise against driving to the event. However, if you need to drive most parking options are paid, and on-street parking is controlled by local council permits or pay-and-display bays. There are also a few private car parks in the area, such as the NCP car park on Great Eastern Street, which offers short- and long-term parking.

Be aware that Shoreditch falls within the Congestion Charge Zone and Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), so additional charges may apply if you drive into the area during designated times or if your vehicle does not meet emissions standards.

Blue Badge holders have different rules and regulations, please check the council website (link) for what is applicable.

FESTIVAL SUPPORT

Our dedicated Front of House team is placed across the festival to ensure you get the best experience. You can identify the team by their bright pink t-shirts. Anything you need, just ask, and they will do their best to help.

THE SXSW LONDON STREET TEAM

We also have a knowledgeable and friendly street team across the festival, who are on hand to help you. Got a spare hour to fill and want to catch something last minute? Feeling a bit lost? Just want a sit down and a good coffee? Look out for the pink t-shirts and they’ll be happy to help!

You will find staffed information points located at various spots across the SXSW London campus. Seek out our team with any questions, concerns, or assistance you may need.

If you’re planning to attend and have any access needs, we’re here to support you in any way we can. During registration, you should have been asked about any additional assistance or provisions you may require.

You can also reach us by phone at 020 4572 3147 during office hours, up until the event begins. Please note: this number will not be active during the event itself. If you need assistance on the day, our staff will be available on-site to help with any questions or support.

ON SITE

During the festival, we have a dedicated team who are on hand to assist you with any access needs, provisions or support you may need. You can get in touch with them by heading to one of our information points. If your need is urgent, you can approach any of our team across the site and they will ensure you connect to the team.

Luggage Storage Information

Please note that SXSW London does not offer on-site luggage storage facilities. If you’re carrying bags or larger items, we recommend planning ahead. Fortunately, there are convenient luggage storage options nearby. Liverpool Street Station, just a short distance away, offers secure storage services that many visitors find useful.

Additionally, there are third-party apps and services such as Bounce, Stasher, Nannybag, and LuggageHero that help you find luggage storage locations throughout London. These platforms connect users with local businesses offering short-term bag storage.
