Board Member

Patrick Moore

Patrick Moore serves as the Culture Lead for the private investment firm Panarae, supervising the firm’s investments in culture and media. Moore is a cultural advisor to SXSW London and sits on the festival’s board. Earlier in his career, Moore served as the Director of The Andy Warhol Museum from 2017 to 2024 where he curated major Warhol exhibitions globally. Moore has also produced projects with leading artists including KAWS, Catherine Opie, John Baldessari and Ed Rucha. As a digital producer, Moore created content for brands such as Wolfgang Puck and Yahoo! He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and is based in Madrid.

Randel Bryan

Randel Bryan has pioneered operational and commercial strategies for some of the world's leading studios and venues, including Universal Pictures, Endemol Shine, and, most recently, Factory International. At Factory International, he helped launch Aviva Studios, a world-class music and arts venue in the heart of Manchester – a truly pioneering project that is set to generate £1.1 billion for The local economy.

In his new role as Managing Director of SXSW Europe, Randel will lead the strategy to bring the world-renowned celebration of creativity and technology to Europe. The event aims to present an unmissable addition to the European creative calendar, blending the SXSW essence with a distinct European flair that will unfold in East London, the epicentre of creativity and tech in one of Europe & leading capitals.

Eva Omaghomi

Eva Omaghomi CVO is the founder of Forster Jones & Associates, a premier advisory firm specialising in strategic communications, cultural intelligence, and elite industry connections. With a remarkable 20-year career in Communications including in the Mayor of London’s Office then to the British Royal Household — notably as the first Director of Community Engagement to a British Monarch — Eva brings unique expertise to globally influential clients. She continues to advise King Charles III on global community engagement and supports Idris Elba in shaping his international profile through IE7 and The Akuna Group.

Andy Ayim MBE is a globally recognised thought leader who helps individuals and organisations unlock their potential through practical tools, frameworks, and meaningful insights. With a focus on removing obstacles and inspiring confidence, Andy equips people to lead with authenticity, emotional intelligence, and purpose.

Renowned for his clear, actionable guidance, Andy’s work spans emotional intelligence, inclusive leadership, and scaling startups. His talks combine humour, storytelling, and research-backed insights, leaving audiences feeling empowered, emotional and ready to make tangible changes in their lives and organisations.

Ayesha Qureshi

Ayesha Qureshi

Ayesha Qureshi MBE is a distinguished solicitor, magistrate, and community leader with a career spanning law, civic engagement, and public service. She is known for her impactful contributions to the East London communities. A senior finance lawyer based in London, she has advised a broad range of clients in both private practice and in-house roles. 
In recognition of her contributions to the successful London Olympic bid, Ayesha was awarded an MBE in the 2006 New Year’s Honours. A dedicated public servant, she also serves as a Magistrate (JP) in London and was granted the Freedom of the City of London in 2023. 

Dorothy Chou

Dorothy Chou

Dorothy Chou leads the Public Engagement Lab at Google DeepMind, where she helps shape how society envisions and prepares for AI-enabled futures. A long-time advocate for transparency and equity in tech, she created the first industry-standard Transparency Report at Google and has held senior roles at Uber, Dropbox, and Google, including work on criminal justice reform and self-driving policy. Outside of DeepMind, Dorothy is pursuing a Master’s in Practical Ethics at Oxford and is an active angel investor and Venture Partner at Ada Ventures, backing historically excluded founders across Europe and the US. She serves on the development board of the Young Vic theatre, co-founded the nonprofit Superbloom, and holds a B.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.

Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE

Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE is a recognised and respected multi-award winning thought-leader and CEO of Stemettes, a social enterprise which inspires and support girls, young women and non-binary young people in STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). She was voted the most influential woman in tech in the UK of 2020 by Computer Weekly, is featured among the top 50 women in tech, globally, by Forbes Magazine and served as President of the British Science Association from 2022-2023. She was also the temporary Arithmetician for 60 episodes on Channel 4’s Countdown, the world’s longest-running game show, and serves as the Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University, Co-Chair of the Institute for the Future of Work and Chair of UD Music Foundation. Her first book She’s In CTRL was published in September 2022.

Through strategic positioning and market penetration, she successfully scaled TTYA London into a global business, securing a licensing deal with ASOS—demonstrating her expertise in brand expansion, retail partnerships, and consumer engagement.

Jace Tyrrell

During a 25-year career in urban regeneration, destination development and campaigning in the UK and Australia, Jace has led successful industry and precinct partnerships and holds the world record for Business Improvement Districts (BIDs). His recent tenures include CEO of New West End Company (London’s West End & Mayfair), setting up Australia’s first BID across Sydney’s Western Harbour and in 2023 becoming CEO for Opportunity London, the public/private partnership seeking to secure the next £100bn of capital investment for London. Jace has represented thousands of businesses and employees, secured millions in funding and successfully advocated for billions into capital investment.

Russ Shaw

Russ Shaw CBE is the founder of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates. He originally founded Tech London Advocates in 2013 to promote and support startups and scaleups and be an independent, grassroots voice for the community.

Since then, he has been championing London and the UK as a global tech hub and campaigning to address some of the biggest challenges and opportunities facing tech companies in the UK.

Global Tech Advocates, which Russ founded in 2015, is now present in over 40 hubs around the globe, with over 40,000 members. In 2019, Russ launched the inaugural GTA Festival, taking place in China and bringing the international network together for the first time. The second edition of the Festival was held in India in 2022.

Sam Mathys

Montreal born Londoner Sam Mathys is a nighttime economy specialist with 25 years of experience in hospitality and entertainment, known for an innovative approach to creating vibrant, inclusive, and diverse night-time spaces. She played a key role in shaping East London's nightlife as Night Time Economy Manager for the London Borough of Hackney for almost 7 years. She is known for the development and management of the Hackney Nights program as well as leading the evening and night time strategy work for the borough. She is now a Senior Policy Officer in the Greater London Authority, working in the 24 Hour London team, leading on nightlife policy, safety and regulation and the London Nightlife Taskforce.

Tom’s background is music and technology, where he has spent his career building things (brands, companies, departments, teams) and connecting things (companies to partners, artists to audiences, and audiences to the things they love).  A focus throughout his career has been bridging the gap between artists, technology, and audiences through brand building, marketing and creative content. He has worked for Sony Music, Myspace and Vevo - with his most recent role being Managing Director for Spotify in the UK and Ireland, a role he held for 6+ years. He is a partner in boutique music distributor Canvas Music. He is also a trustee on the board of Camden-based charity, The London Irish Centre.

Nicola Green is a British artist and social historian. Green takes an interdisciplinary approach, working at the intersection of contemporary visual storytelling and traditional portraiture.

Green is celebrated for her unique perspective that offers profound insights into the dynamics of legacy and representation and how visual language can spark change. Green assumes the role of witness to momentous global events, creating artworks that preserve and reflect our shared heritage. Her practice explores how art can connect us to the past and illuminate hidden or forgotten histories, capture pivotal moments in the present, and inspire transformative visions for the future.
