JENN NKIRU RETROSPECTIVE
The first UK film retrospective of Grammy Award-winning artist and filmmaker Jenn Nkiru will take place at the SXSW London Screen Festival, and will feature Nkiru’s feature documentary THE GREAT NORTH, co-produced by Factory International and MOTHERSHIP. Renowned for directing Beyoncé's ‘Brown Skin Girl’ music video, Nkiru’s visionary work is recognised by world-leading institutions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Tate Modern.
CONVERSATIONS
Alongside previews of buzzy new films and series, the Screen Festival will be hosting panels, talks and workshops to provide insight on the inner workings of the screen industries, and how they interact with other creative practices and to keep up with the future of storytelling as it unfolds before us. The creators and showrunners of the hit HBO show Industry, Mikey Down and Kondrad Kay, the CEO of MUBI, Efe Cakarel, and others will be joining us for Keynote talks.
