Theso Jivajirajah

Theso Jivajirajah is co-founder and chief risk officer of next-generation credit card Yonder, which harnesses the power of open banking to make credit inclusive, accessible, and rewarding for 'credit invisibles'.

Prior to founding Yonder where he leads the evaluation and mitigation of risk through Data Science, Theso spent three years at ClearScore, managing the company’s product sorting algorithm and building out its Data Science function to identify growth opportunities and create better efficiency for ClearScore’s customers and partners. Theso has more than 18 years of banking experience across Commonwealth Bank (CBA) in Australia and Vanquis Bank in London, working in credit cards across fraud, P&L optimisation, risk, analytics and product management.

Through his experience at both startups and established lenders, Theso believes that technology investment can create a powerful lending proposition that puts the customer first, while building a solid and sustainable business.
