Description

Josephine Philips is the founder & CEO of SOJO, the UK based B-Corp certified repairs and alterations platform. Philips founded the fashion-tech start up in January 2021, with the mission of helping to make the fashion industry more circular by revolutionising the clothing repair and tailoring sector. Continually finding herself falling for clothes that didn’t quite fit but with no convenient way to get the pieces tailored - she got to work to create a solution.

SOJO provides an integrated and scalable solution for e-commerce & retail fashion brands to offer their customers an alterations and repair service as part of their aftersales experience - helping them to reduce returns and increase circularity in their businesses.

Having launched its first B2B partnership with GANNI in 2021, SOJO now partners with over 20 fashion brands and retailers including Marks & Spencer, Ralph Lauren, Selfridges, Paul Smith, REISS and more.

As one of the UK’s most exciting young tech entrepreneurs, Josephine was featured on Forbes Europe 30 under 30 in the Technology category, selected for the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund and spotlighted in the inaugural Vogue Business 100 Innovators list.
