Daze Aghaji is an environmentalist, strategist, and creative whose work explores the deep connections between climate justice, identity, and culture. A founding member of Extinction Rebellion Youth, Daze played a key role in the 2019 London occupation that led to the UK government declaring a climate emergency. Her legal activism contributed to a landmark judicial review, resulting in the release of the UK's Net Zero Strategy. Formerly the Creative Director of Earthrise Studio, Daze helped grow the platform to over three million followers, using storytelling to inspire a new generation of environmental consciousness. She is also a co-founder of Hard Art, a creative organisation using culture to challenge systems of power and ignite real climate action.
As a trustee of Boundless Theatre, the British Pilgrimage Trust, and the Blagrave Trust, Daze continues to shape conversations across activism and the arts. Her work is grounded in the belief that true climate solutions must honour identity, land, and legacy—calling us to fall back in love with the earth and with each other.
