Akash Jain currently serves as CTO and President of Palantir USG. His current areas of focus include driving Palantir’s R&D portfolio, including enabling AI/ML Ops across the U.S. government business with Palantir’s Gotham and Foundry platforms. He spends most of his time iterating with mission partners, Palantir’s engineering teams, and leaders across the civilian, defense, and intelligence practice areas.

Mr. Jain joined Palantir in 2005 as a software engineer to design and build Palantir’s Gotham platform. From there, he led the deployment and iteration of Palantir’s platform across the defense and intelligence communities in the United States and alongside critical international partners. His areas of expertise include performance, scalability, security, cloud architecture, hybrid deployment models, and edge solutions.

Mr. Jain graduated from Stanford University in 2003 with a degree in Computer Science. He now lives in Oakland, California, where he enjoys spending time with his family.
