Sunken

London five-piece Sunken are an exceptional new band, who have been championed in recent months by the likes of Benji B and Future Artists (Radio 1), Clash, Pigeons & Planes and tastemaker portal Nina.

Working with producer Ben Hillier (Blur, Depeche Mode, Nadine Shah) on their recent and brilliant second EP '10K', Sunken's atmospheric songs are rich in detail, positing the band alongside adventurers such as Bar Italia, Maria Somerville and (untitled) Halo. Their songs resonate, lifted by lead singer Poppy's soft but never brittle vocals carrying the weight.

Sunken's debut album is expected to be released early next year.
