With a curious ear for percussive and bass driven sounds, IYESHA sculpts a sonic fusion of genres, expertly and carefully weaving together selections of wonky and experimental club edits with global rave sounds and heavy to the floor techno. A stalwart member of Leeds’ DIY Party scene (now based back in her hometown of London), IYESHA is co-founder of free party turned club night and collective Rat Party and is a regular on dance floors across the UK. She’s made a name for herself as a rhythmic master on the decks, making a stamp in the UK scene playing for parties and collectives like: Opia, Howl Worldwide, Technomate, Riposte, Voight Kampff, Love Muscle, Body Movements & more. She’s recently dipped her toes into international waters, playing at Bossa Nova Civic for NYC Collective A Body Party and at C12 for Brussels collective Call of Dirty.
With a fluency and ability to weave through different strands of dance music, she’s an exciting addition to any lineup. Her focus lies in her candid, high octane energy style, combining techno, club, gqom, bubbling, bouyon and more to make a sound that is her own. As a North Londoner born to West African parents she derives inspiration from her immediate surroundings, drawing on the elements of grime, drill and afrobeats whilst she mixes. Her blends are an ever bubbling cauldron of delight, sure to make the crowd go feral.
