Dankie Sounds

Dankie Sounds was launched back in August 2021 at a time when the infectious sound of Amapiano was unarguably the sound of summer. With the aim of being the number 1 hybrid event within the amapiano scene; the shows provide a unique musical experience for its attendees where they, the DJ’s and the instrumentalists are the main attractions. Simply put, it’s the energy of the music and attendees that makes this event so special. Having hosted a 3-month residency at Near & Far Camden to launch; the event now holds over 2000 attendees and has hosted events overseas in the motherland of Africa, Ghana and the birth of house music Ibiza.  Dankie Sounds is a music collective that goes above and beyond in curating amazing experiences through their events. They have a knack for discovering and showcasing talented performers, landing them spots at major festivals like Stormzy's "Who We Be" and City Splash. With events that attract over 2000 attendees, Dankie Sounds truly provides a platform for these artists to shine and reach a wider audience.
