The duo met while creating Jannah Beth’s solo project Orbits & Echoes, discovering an immediate creative alignment rooted in emotional honesty, patience, and curiosity. Their process often begin with dialogue, allowing songs to emerge through freestyles, repetition, and subtle evolution rather than forced outcomes.
FUTURE SHADE explores themes of love, transience, cosmic connection, and shared humanity. Their sound blends organic and electronic textures, balancing melancholy and release, music designed for sunset festival stages as much as intimate listening.
The name FUTURE SHADE is inspired by Future Shade, the album by The Herd — a philosophy of planting seeds for futures beyond ourselves. It reflects a long-term commitment to lineage, care, and intentional creation: honouring the shade inherited from those before, while creating spaces of rest, connection, and meaning that may never fully be experienced by the creators themselves, for those who come after.
