Shorts: Bodies

Exploring the body as language that is controlled, desired, ageing, and/yet always in flux.

BODIES brings together films where the body becomes a form of language, that is read, performed and never fully free. Under surveillance, in space(s) of leisure and/or loneliness, and within communities shaped by time, bodies negotiate how they are seen and what they can express. As desire flickers through constraint, ageing becomes visibility rather than disappearance, and intimacy is both sought and withheld. Across these worlds, from the controlled to the playful, the body resists stillness, constantly shifting between exposure and protection, performance and truth.
