Perman Jorayev

Perman is an Investment Manager in the Amadeus Early Stage team. Previously, Perman worked at Verve Ventures, establishing their UK office and investing across Health & Bio, AI, Materials, and Quantum.

Perman holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge in Chemical Engineering with a research focus on AI-driven autonomous labs for process development. During his PhD, Perman collaborated with multiple pharma companies to develop new drug synthesis workflows.

Perman holds a BSc in Chemistry and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from KAIST, Korea, with research experience at EPFL, Switzerland and MIT, USA, in carbon capture, live cell protein imaging, crude-oil upgrading, and synthetic chemistry.
