Ana Barjasic
Founder & CEO, Connectology
Ana Barjasic is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and policy advisor working across European and global innovation ecosystems. She was recognised among Europe’s Top 100 Most Influential Women in Startups and Venture Capital in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
She is the Founder and CEO of Connectology, an investment and capacity-building firm supporting founders, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders in investment readiness, access to capital, and the application of behavioural science to investment and innovation.
From 2021 to 2025, Ana served as a Board Member of the European Innovation Council (EIC), Europe’s €10 billion flagship innovation fund. During her mandate, she coordinated the first randomised controlled trial on evaluator bias within the European Commission, in collaboration with the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Ana is an Advisory Board Member of the European Startup Nations Alliance, an Obama Leader Europe, and an EIC Ambassador. She mentors and advises startups through initiatives including Techstars, Amazon Launchpad, NATO DIANA, and SXSW, and has spoken at events in over 50 countries.
