Tom Mackenzie co-anchors “Opening Trade” on Bloomberg TV, bringing daily analysis of the biggest market and business events across the US, Asia and Europe. He also hosts Bloomberg Tech Europe, a monthly show focused on the biggest themes and names in the European tech space.

Tom has interviewed some of the world’s most influential founders and executives including Sam Altman, Jamie Dimon, Demis Hassabis and the CEOs of Goldman Sachs, Arm, ASML, Ryanair and Klarna.

Tom was previously Bloomberg TV’s China Correspondent, based in Beijing where he covered the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the US-China trade war and China’s burgeoning tech sector. He landed exclusive interviews with Alibaba’s founder Jack Ma, Baidu CEO Robin Li, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei and the governor of the People’s Bank of China.
