He has been based in London for nearly a decade, covering everything from pub culture and green issues to global conflicts and geopolitical developments, with recent reporting from Ukraine and Israel. He is the author of two books and the director of documentaries on Brexit and on an occupied skyscraper in Caracas , Venezuela, nominated for an International Emmy Award .
