Nikki Osman is Editor at Women's Health UK. A journalist for 15 years - and a health editor for the past eight - she’s written, commissioned and edited thousands of words on female health and healthcare, from the gender play gap that sees 65% of teenage girls drop out of sport to the postcode lottery of menopause care and the deplorable statistic that Black women are still four times more likely to die in childbirth than White women in the UK. She’s worked on campaigns to provide gym kit to women in poor communities and equip male runners with the tools and confidence to support female runners who feel unsafe on the streets. And she has twice been invited to Downing Street to report on the progress of the Women’s Health Strategy - on both occasions, she was the only journalist in the room.
