Mishaal Tamer

Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Mishaal Tamer is one of the first artists to make a global impact from the Kingdom. When music was fully legalized in Saudi Arabia, he began posting clips of song ideas that he’d write himself, quickly gaining attention in the lo-fi community as producers and rappers sampled his voice.

In 2018, Mishaal bought his first soundcard and began recording original music, releasing early songs like “Kid Goku” and “Addicted.” His raw sound and heartfelt lyrics earned him an international following, and by 2019, he became the first Saudi artist to sign with a major record label, signing with Sony RCA in the U.S. and Columbia Records in the UK. As Saudi Arabia’s entertainment scene continued to grow, Mishaal expanded his vision. He founded Mishaal Tamer Establishment in Saudi Arabia and Arabian Knights Records in the United States, a label created in partnership with EMPIRE, aiming to spotlight regional talent on a global scale.

In 2024, he released his highly anticipated debut album, HOME IS CHANGING, a deeply personal project exploring identity, belonging, and transformation. The album was met with critical acclaim and commercial success, with the single “ITTY BITTY” reaching #1 on Mexico’s Top Viral 50 on Spotify, and “BABA FEIN” breaking into the Top 50 on Billboard Arabia. The album also earned him Album of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year at the 2024 Musivv Awards. Mishaal continues to make history as the first artist from Saudi Arabia to embark on a world tour, but his impact goes far beyond the stage. As a cultural pioneer, he is redefining what it means to be a global artist from the region—championing creative freedom, building infrastructure for future talent, and inspiring a new generation to dream without limits.
