Michele Wolkoff joined The Ink Factory in 2020 as Head of Film and TV, and was promoted to Creative Director two years later. In her role as Creative Director, Michele defines, supervises and is central to the realisation of The Ink Factory’s full slate of film and television projects managing the development and production team in the US, the UK, and around the world. An active slate that currently includes the continued evolution of The Night Manager TV series, additional adaptations of some of John le Carré’s best-known novels, as well as an exciting and diverse shortlist of high-profile projects. Prior to joining The Ink Factory, Wolkoff ran the film department at The Mark Gordon Company and Bazelevs, the production company for Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov. Michele met Timur while at Universal Pictures, where she worked for over seven years as Director of Development and managed the studio’s other deals with Cha-Cha-Cha (Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro Gonzáles Iñárritu’s production company), and Fernando Meirelles’s O2 Filmes. Michele started her career at Universal as the creative assistant to then Universal Chairman Stacey Snider. Michele’s recent credits include last year’s award winning THE PIGEON TUNNEL on Apple TV, CULPRITS on Hulu, and with past credits including THE CURRENT WAR, APOLLO 18 and the cult classic ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER.
