Lucy Liu is Co-founder and President of Airwallex. She oversees ongoing business operations at Airwallex, working across the organisation to implement Airwallex’s mission and purpose to empower modern businesses of all sizes to grow beyond borders. Established in Melbourne in 2015, Airwallex is today, a leading global financial and payment platform for businesses, supporting over 200,000 businesses globally.
Lucy has been recognised for her leadership and entrepreneurial achievements over the years, including Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen List 2020, Ernst & Young "Top 22 Entrepreneurial Winning Women in APAC” (2020), Finnies “Emerging Fintech Leader of the Year” (2020) and Forbes “30 Young Entrepreneurs in Asia” (2017). In 2021, she received the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Business and Economics Rising Star for Young Alumni Award, in recognition of her outstanding level of leadership.
