Lucy Guo

Lucy Guo is the Founder & CEO of Passes, a creator commerce platform that provides creators with a suite of digital tools to earn from their creativity, grow their fanbase, and become successful entrepreneurs. Raised in the Bay Area, the central hub of innovation, Guo was surrounded by emerging technologies and entrepreneurial energy that inspired her to teach herself how to code. Her journey as an entrepreneur began with hackathons and creative online ventures, where she discovered her talent for building exceptional products. This passion propelled her to drop out of Carnegie Mellon’s computer science program and bet on herself–becoming a prestigious Thiel Fellow. She subsequently co-founded artificial intelligence startup Scale AI, and subsequently launched venture fund, Backend Capital, which has invested in over 100 startups under Lucy’s leadership.
