Lea Karam
Founder
Mindscope
Named a "pioneer in the field of behavioural science" (Campaign Mag) and said to "influence hearts and minds and commercial decisions in the industry" (Marketing Week), Lea Karam is a multi-award-winning behavioural scientist, founder and speaker. Having worked on most of the emerging and leading brands and platforms favoured by audiences today, Lea brings in a wealth of expertise in behavioural science and consumer psychology; with a leading industry voice in applying behavioural science to decode and pioneer the "new era of influence" - tech, entertainment, culture and commerce. In fact, Lea founded the first behavioural science consultancy, "Mindscope", that specialises in the space.
Lea has played a pivotal role in accelerating the adoption of behavioural science across these industries, equipping brands with a tangible understanding of audiences and the ecosystems they operate in. As the only Behavioural Advisor and Executive Member of The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences – alongside figures like Tim Berners-Lee and Alexis Ohanian – Lea continues to shape the future of the field.
Her work spans marketing, entertainment, tech, and culture, helping clients understand hidden viewer habits, decode the science behind brand experiences, and anticipate cultural shifts, ultimately redefining how communities and human connections evolve in today’s moving landscape.
Lea has also been recognised by leading industry accolades including Campaign Media Week 30 Under 30 (2022), Management Today 35 Women Under 35 (2023), and The Media Leader Future 100 (2024), and has been featured by Inside Behavioural Economics as one of the world’s top behavioural experts.
As the world moves towards further polarity, algorithmic overwhelm and perplexity, an accurate understanding of human behaviour, and how to apply it to improve connections, plays a critical important role in the foundations of successful business, marketing, audience, cultural and growth strategies. And in instilling positive social change.
Which is why Lea finds great passion and purpose in equipping, inspiring and exciting the world around the applications of human behaviour; in creative, human and innovative ways. Lea's work has spanned across markets, companies, platforms, senior executives and industries, and some of these include TikTok, Snapchat, BBC iPlayer, Canon and Amazon - and many more!
Lea has an established presence at world-class seminars and events, with some of the key ones she spoke at being The Royal Television Cambridge Convention, The Future of Brands, The Future of Video, Digital Marketing World Forum, Technology for Marketing, MAD//Fest, Game Changer, London Experience Week by WxO, MIPCOM Cannes and many more, including Snap Forward and Pinterest Predicts' leadership summits; praising her innovative, strategic, and disruptive perspective.
