Menopause Mandate
Laura Biggs is an award-winning event leader and passionate advocate for women’s health and workplace equity. With over 25 years of experience building bold, purpose-driven platforms, she is the Co-Founder and CEO of Women in Work, a global summit series that brings together leaders from business, policy, and culture to challenge the status quo and drive systemic change. Under her leadership, Women in Work has grown into a movement, with flagship events in London and New York and a growing presence at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Seeing firsthand how menopause was ignored in both healthcare and the workplace, Laura co-founded Menopause Mandate in the UK — a nonprofit advocacy group now backed by major cross-party political and celebrity support. The campaign has helped drive national conversation and policy change, and inspired the launch of Menopause Mandate US in partnership with Naomi Watts and Mariella Frostrup. Together, the team launched the first free national menopause advice line in the U.S., modelled on the UK initiative Laura pioneered.
Whether advocating in Parliament, convening at Davos, or curating sold-out summits, Laura is driven by one mission: to ensure no woman walks into midlife unprepared and to put women’s health where it belongs, at the top of the agenda.
