Description
Jun Kim is a Seoul-based A&R and creative strategist at SM Entertainment’s ScreaM Records, where he has been an integral part of the label’s evolution since 2021. Active in the music industry since 2015, he has contributed to key initiatives such as the iScreaM remix series, artist signings including Mar Vista and 2Spade, the label’s rebranding, the launch of ScreaM Agency, the K-POP ScreaM North American tour, and various compilation albums. As a core team member, Jun has played a major role in discovering and signing local and international talent, as well as sourcing tracks from global producers to support K-POP productions—contributing to over 150 releases that bridge K-POP and dance music. Prior to SM, he built a multifaceted career in the Korean local dance music scene as a music producer, content creator, and DJ. He led A&R and creative direction at UNFRAME SEOUL, a platform dedicated to spotlighting emerging Korean artists, founded the electronic music magazine Kid Seoul, and was involved in Seoul’s underground scene through DJ crews like OVERFLOOD and NUIT. As one half of the DJ/producer duo ONE DAY ONE COKE, he brings a unique artist perspective to his A&R work, blending digital storytelling with deep-rooted cultural insight.
