Jodie Harsh is ripping up dance music’s rulebook. A DJ, producer, partystarter, queer icon and now

author, she’s worn many hats (and wigs) over the course of her two-decade career in clubs, always at

the forefront of culture and carving out her own lane. She’s celebrated as the driving force behind

some of London’s best parties and has also emerged more recently as one of the hottest names in

house music. You know a Harsh banger when you hear one: high energy, plump drums, dramatic

synth stabs, a big vocal that calls to the classics, unbridled euphoria. “Whatever I do, I’m always trying
