Jeremy Kahn is the award-winning AI Editor at business publication Fortune and the author of Mastering AI: A Survival Guide to Our Superpowered Future. He spearheads Fortune’s reporting on artificial intelligence, writes its “Eye on AI” newsletter, and co-chairs its Brainstorm AI conferences. Before rejoining Fortune in 2019, Kahn spent eight years at Bloomberg, where he covered tech, including artificial intelligence. His writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Atlantic, Smithsonian, The Boston Globe, Fast Company, The New Republic, and Slate. He is a former managing editor of The New Republic. From 2007 to 2011 he was based in New Delhi, India, and he has reported from throughout South Asia, as well as the Ivory Coast, Iraq, Venezuela, and most countries in Western Europe. He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the London School of Economics. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he now lives with his family in Oxford, England.
