Jack Parker-Holder is a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind where he leads the World Models team. He started the Genie project in 2022, winning a Best Paper Award at the International Conference of Machine Learning. Most recently co-led Genie 3, DeepMind's state of the art world model. Previously he worked at Meta on automatic environment design for agents and completed his PhD at the University of Oxford on open-ended learning. In a former life, he was a trader at JPMorgan in New York.
