Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun serves as Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and also leads the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), the Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPA), and the Maheshkhali Integrated Development Authority (MIDA).
Holding the rank of State Minister, he is the first private-sector leader appointed to head these core investment institutions under the Prime Minister's Office. Previously, Mr. Chowdhury was an investment banker at HSBC Singapore, specializing in infrastructure and sustainable finance.
