Steve Sidwell is a Grammy Award-winning and Emmy-nominated composer, orchestrator, and producer whose work spans theatre, television, film, and major global events. With training from the Royal College of Music and Guildhall School, Steve’s acclaimed orchestrations include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk nominations), Bat Out of Hell, and Operation Mincemeat.
He’s served as Musical Director for landmark broadcasts such as the BBC’s Platinum Jubilee Concert, the 95th Academy Awards, and the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony.
In film, he co-produced music for Bohemian Rhapsody and contributed to Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet, Bridget Jones’s Diary, SpongeBob SquarePants, Finding Nemo, Mona Lisa Smile and 101 Dalmatians 2.
Steve has written and performed with some of the world’s most iconic artists, including Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse, Sir Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, Lionel Richie, Mick Jagger and George Michael. His compositions have featured in global ad campaigns such as M&S, Virgin Holidays, ASDA, Robinsons, Nokia Navigator, Heineken, Lotto, Walkers, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Capital Radio and Guinness.
