Shruti Tripathi Chopra is editor in chief of Financial News and Private Equity News, two Dow Jones publications serving the finance sector for nearly 30 years. The publications’ youngest editor ever, Shruti is also the first person of colour and the first woman appointed to this position.
In April, Shruti was named ‘Journalist of the Year - Stewardship’ at the State Street Global Advisors Awards. She also won the diversity, equity and inclusion journalist of the year award at the Aviva Investors media gongs in November. Shruti also received the Cardiff University 30(ish) Alumni Award in 2024 for her journalism career.
