Whiney B2B Hugh Hardie

Will Hine aka Whiney, one of Hospital Records’ youngest ever signings, has been lighting up dance floors and festivals with his trademark underground sounds for over seven years. Introduced to classical instruments at 7 and drum & bass at 14, Will signed his first track ‘No More’ to Hospital Records at the age of 18.

His debut album Talisman received nominations in three categories at The Drum & Bass Arena Awards - Best Newcomer, Best Album and Best Track for the anthem ‘Flashlight’ (ft. Inja) which held the Beatport top spot for over 2 weeks. No longer viewed as a newcomer, his second album Waystone cemented his name as one of the scene’s most well-respected artists followed by the three-part 'Bubblers' series. His compositions have also been included by the likes of BT Sport, Soccer AM, Need For Speed Heat, Watch Dogs, Forza Horizon 3 & 4, GRIP and many more. In recent years, Will has become renowned for carving out his own grime and drum & bass infusion with the renowned ‘Headlines’ (ft. Subten). This caught the ears of UK icon P Money and  the duo have since released their Streets, Love & Other Stuff LP via Hospital Records, boasting hit singles including ‘Buss The Red’, ‘Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ and ‘Dead In The Eye' (ft. Example).

Hugh Hardie first came to prominence at the start of 2014 when his track ‘Tearing Me Apart’ was used to celebrate Hospital Records’ landmark birthday on their ‘We Are 18’ compilation. The Cambridge-based virtuoso was exclusively signed to the roster a year later with the release of his EP City Soul, which set the precedent for his bright and uplifting liquid productions. The year 2017 saw Hugh truly put his stamp across the drum & bass world with his highly regarded full-length debut LP Colourspace. Hugh’s second studio album Shadows & Silhouettes was released in 2019 to further critical acclaim. In 2020 Hugh released his 7 Tunes In 7 Days project, which was written during his period of lockdown isolation in April and wowed the drum & bass community. The producer set himself a challenge to write a new track from scratch every day for a week, and the outcome was nothing short of spectacular.

Over the years, Hugh has built a loyal following and earned himself top DJ spots across Europe’s biggest events including Glastonbury, Sun & Bass and plenty of global Hospitality events.
