Description

With more than half of London's LGBTQ+ venues closed, Unbound celebrates queer nightlife as a space of community and creativity. Artists and filmmakers Tikul Ewelina Aleksandrowicz and Andrzej Wojtas, who go by the artist name PXKRW (aka Pussykrew), film their subjects as royalty. There’s Seba, a former opera singer in navigating their transformation; Lewis, a seasoned club night promoter and activist; and Kaiden, a non-binary artist and self-described “energy bender”. Through their stories, as well as ravishing, immersive imagery, Unbound highlights how these spaces serve as sanctuaries of self-expression, resistance, and healing. Anna Bogutskaya
