Zoe Rahman is a celebrated contemporary jazz pianist and composer whose expressive playing has earned her major UK jazz awards and international acclaim. Described in The Observer as “a remarkable pianist by any standard”, Rahman's style is deeply rooted in jazz yet it reflects her classical background, British/Bengali heritage and her very broad musical taste. A MOBO Award winner, Mercury Prize nominee and Ivor Novello Award winner, Zoe has established herself as a unique presence in the British music industry and has performed around the world.

Sohini Alam’s musical repertoire is rooted in folk, modern, and traditional Bengali music. A third-generation singer from a family of renowned Bangladeshi vocalists, her work is deeply informed by traditional forms while continually evolving through contemporary expression. She is particularly known for Nazrul songs and Rabindra sangeet. She is the lead vocalist of critically acclaimed bands Khiyo, Lokkhi Terra, In Place of War’s GRRRL, and Musical Director of Komola Collective

Himanish Goswami 

Himanish Goswami is a sought after tabla player in the UK. He has collaborated with well-known bands such as Kula Shaker and Lokkhi Terra and has featured on BBC One and BBC Radio Asian Network. He has performed at prestigious venues such as The Barbican, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Uttam Manch (Kolkata). He regularly performs around the UK, Europe, India and the USA.

 

Himanish is currently the lead tabla teacher at Newham Music (east London) and Noborag Music, a music organisation whose aim is to promote Indian music and culture in the UK.
