Known for their heavy riffs and heartfelt lyrics intertwined, Mandragora have quickly made a name for themselves with a live show that is as emotionally stirring as it is exciting. The stage, adorned with flowers, vines, and candles, sets a hauntingly beautiful scene. They made their live debut in March 2023 at Thekla, Bristol. They have since sold out three headline shows at Crofters Rights, Zed Alley and Moor Brewery, and performed at other renowned venues including The Fleece and Trinity Centre. They have thrived within Bristol’s alternative scene, supporting the likes of Kid Brunswick, Crae Wolf, Kite Thief, Gender Crisis And Death Goals.
They released their first single 'BEDROOM' in 2023, followed by 4 more highly anticipated releases over the last two years. All of which have received airtime on BBC Radio stations, including spins on 'BBC Radio 1 - Rock With Alyx Holcombe'.
The effort is created by dual lead guitarist Ryan Morris and Ryan MacISaac, bassist Kieran Pinnick, Riley Green on drums and Maisie Waterhouse on vocals. Despite their diverse backgrounds, the band members unite with shared musical influences including System Of A Down, Killswitch Engage, Spiritbox, Deftones and Trivium, which have shaped their distinctive sound.
This year they are competing in 'Metal 2 The Masses' with a chance to perform at Bloodstock Festival, and they have new music scheduled to release.
