Luke Hinton (Grassroots Promotion + Artist Advocacy)

Luke Hinton is a UK-based live music promoter and sector leader, founder of independent promotion company Juicebox Live, where he has spent nearly two decades developing artists, building audiences and delivering grassroots shows across Hertfordshire and the surrounding region.

He currently serves as Chair of the Association of Independent Promoters (AIP), working to support the next generation of promoters and strengthen collaboration across the grassroots music ecosystem. Luke has also previously worked as a consultant for the Music Venue Trust (MVT), contributing to sector development initiatives and advocacy for grassroots venues.

Through his work across promotion, training and strategic partnerships, he is committed to creating sustainable opportunities for emerging artists, promoters and venues.


Information for mentees:

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in for your mentor session. Late arrivals (anyone not present at the start of their booked session) may lose their slot to a walk-up attendee.
  • If a session is fully booked, you’re welcome to try as a walk-up in case a booked attendee doesn’t attend.
  • We would recommend preparing a brief introduction about yourself, along with any specific questions or areas you’d like guidance on from your mentor.
