Kynda

Kynda is an up-and-coming Hip-Hop artist who delivers Soul-infused tracks over traditional Boom Bap beats. Growing up as a British-Caribbean girl in South London, Kynda often creates music about her experiences with Black British culture, Jamaican family structures, and finding her own identity despite all the labels assigned to her.

Kynda cites A Tribe Called Quest, Foxy Brown and Aaliyah as her main influences on the music she creates. When asked about her fascination with 90s music, Kynda stated, ""My mum would play 90s music all the time when I was growing up. That's probably why I love Boom Bap so much. I often get told that my flow is Old School and I like that. Sure the flow is 'Old School and nostalgic' but the message and the feelings are contemporary.
