GIFTHORSE gallop in from North London town, with their self-proclaimed 'frazzled English Pop', fizzing with anthemic guitars, colourful synths and Naomi Mann's perkily bubblesome vocals.
Fronted by the songwriting partnership of Mann and guitarist Charlie Butler, the group’s debut EP, ‘Queens of Highgate’, has received stunning reviews from the likes of Far Out, Clash and Under The Radar and enjoyed airplay on Radio X, BBC 6 Music and BBC London.
With their observational lyric-writing, sharp aesthetic and joyous performance style, the group has gained a cult live following and this summer they host their own ‘frazzled English Summer’ residency at the Elephant’s Head in Camden.
In July, GIFTHORSE will perform on Tim Burgess’ stage at Kendal Calling before touring with iconic 80s band Altered Images in the autumn.
They continue to add to their growing songbook with the release of new single ‘Friday’s Girl’ on July 10th, with more music to follow.
