The world we live in is one of hostility, division, violence and uncertainty. We're aware of this thanks to the bravery and steadfastness of journalists and their work across the world. So why aren't governments doing more to protect them? 

Over 500 journalists have been killed on-duty since 2020. 1000s more continue to be censored or impeded when they're just trying to do their jobs. This has to stop. But how?
