Lucy Brown is an award-winning filmmaker, author, and Professor of Film and Television at the University of Westminster. She has filmed globally for BBC, Channel 4, Nickelodeon, and Disney, and champions inclusive practice in the screen industries. Lucy is the Founder and Director of Women in Screen, and co-editor of Collaborative Creativity in Film and Television (Routledge, 2025). A returning SXSW contributor, she brings a wealth of experience across industry and education, and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of creative talent.
