Hot off the heels of his melodic folk-pop singles “FIRST LAST TIME” and “IDAHO” — the latter earning BBC Radio 1’s coveted “Tune of the Week” and support from Greg James, Mollie King, and Vick Hope — Portsmouth-based artist DEEPS has emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting new voices. Over the past 12 months, DEEPS has independently amassed over 30 million streams, a testament to his growing resonance with a global audience.

Spring and summer 2024 saw him take the stage at major festivals including BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Camp Bestival, and The Great Escape, building momentum into a sold-out debut headline show at London’s Lower Third to kick off 2025. Around the same time, his breakout track “Still In Love With You” exploded on social media, racking up over 500,000 streams per week and soundtracking more than 60,000 user-generated videos — many using the song’s heart-wrenching lyric: “If you never call again, just know that I will understand.”

Known for his emotive blend of pop ballads and rhythmic blues, DEEPS has earned co-signs from Noah Kahan, Kacey Musgraves, and Anne-Marie, further cementing his place in the next wave of poignant storytellers. Beyond his own artistry, DEEPS has penned songs for a range of acclaimed acts, including Grentperez (“Us Without Me”), Wes Nelson (“Good Part”), and has contributed to records for Kygo, Marshmello, Clean Bandit, Talia Mar, and A7S.

With his distinctive sound and lyrical vulnerability, DEEPS is now gearing up for his biggest chapter yet — a full-length project set for release in late 2025.
