Crystal Murray is more than a rising talent in the music industry. At just 23, the Paris-born, London-based artist blends her avant-garde music with an artistic presence that has seduced the worlds of fashion, art and media. With her 2024 debut album ‘Sad Lovers And Giants’, Crystal evolved into an assured artist who refuses to play by the rules. “I’m moving away from personas to make a clear statement: this is me” she says. “My music can be tragic, theatrical, cinematic—but it’s all authentically me.”
Moving to London at the end of 2024, Crystal is already solidifying herself as an exciting part of the London music scene. Following her own headline shows in the city, Crystal teamed up with London native Lava La Rue for an incredible collaboration on her single ‘Quick Thrill’, an incredibly received single which once again proved the extent of her dynamicity.
Crystal is currently finishing work on her second LP alongside some close collaborators. With a string of summer festivals ahead and new music on the horizon, there is no doubt that are very exciting things to come and Crystal is only just getting started.
