Akeil Onwukwe-Adamson

Akeil has worked in cultural PR and Marketing for almost 10 years, working for some of the biggest brands like Nike,  Stanley 1913,  New Balance,  Soul Cycle and more … he founded Queer Bruk in 2018 as a way to create a space and platform for black and queer people to feel safe and supported.

Queer Bruk is a club night and platform that aims to bridge the gap between queer nightlife and Afro-Caribbean music.  We want to create safe spaces for black and brown queer people to celebrate the music a lot of us grew up listening to.
