REEM is an artist hailing from East London, known for his dynamic range - merging upbeat tempos, infectious rhythms and darker sonic undertones. REEM’s journey into music began with a desire to convey the same emotional resonance that music gives him, to other listeners. In May 2023, he released his debut EP ‘FREE REEM’, which featured his standout singles ‘Play Too Much’ and ‘Right (Daynight)’, and accumulated over 60,000 streams. REEM’s second project ‘REEM DAY’ followed shortly after in November of the same year, including popular tracks ‘Backwards, ‘Kritikal’, ‘Stocks Up’ and ‘Outside Freestyle’. Since its release, ‘REEM DAY’ has accumulated over 210,000 streams. Both projects demonstrate his refined taste in instrumentals, with production credits including names such as Eem Triplin, AshZone and TayoLoxs. REEM has recently been confirmed to perform at SXSW London and TWSTDFEST 2025.
REEM’s music has received support from esteemed platforms, having articles written in UK music and culture magazine GUAP Magazine and Brooklyn based music and media collective HalfMoon BK. His unique sound has resonated with thousands of listeners across various playlists and live radio stations, such as Spotify’s Editorial Fresh Finds UK & IE, Apple Music’s New Fire, KISS Fresh, Reprezent Radio and NTS Radio, resulting in co-signs from tastemakers like Mimi The Music Blogger. REEM’s live presence has also been solidified with over 10 live set performances, including PrettyTwisted’s weekend festival, in which he represented GUAP magazine. REEM has performed alongside artists such as Ceebo, Saiming, LUCKY and Ciel. He draws eclectic musical inspiration from the likes of artists such as Ghetts, Chip, Isaiah Rashad, Earl Sweatshirt and Blood Orange. These artists greatly influence his versatile, yet authentic style.
