Psweatpants is a 27 year-old artist from London, now based in Scotland, known for his sharp metaphors, conceptual delivery and crazy live performances. Drawing influence from Slowthai, Skepta, AJ Tracey, Vince Staples, JPEGMAFIA and Paris Texas, he blends UK grit with US edge. Nominated for Best Hip Hop in 2022 and 2024 at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards—winning the latter—as well as Best Live Act 2024, he’s also been shortlisted for the Sound of Young Scotland and SMIA’s Best Hip Hop Live Act. His music has been championed by BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and BBC Introducing, where he featured in the 2023 Rap Cypher and earned Track of the Week slots. On stage, he’s supported Bemz at a sold-out King Tut’s, as well as Pinty, The Mouse Outfit, Nova, The Snuts, Declan Welsh, Master Peace, Vlure and Hak Baker, while headlining SWG3 in 2024 Aswell as being featured in the last iteration of the Fifa Football game (FC26).
