Orla Rae is a Brighton-born, 24 year-old singer and songwriter carving out a distinct lane in UK R&B and soul. Blending elements of R&B, soul, pop and jazz, her sound is defined by rich harmonies, powerful vocals, and emotionally precise songwriting. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Victoria Monét, Brandy and D’Angelo, Orla Rae delivers a style that feels both timeless and forward-thinking.

She has been championed by BBC Radio 1Xtra, earning two Track of the Week placements, as well as support from BBC Introducing, Reprezent Radio, KISS Xtra and Rinse FM. Her debut EP has surpassed 300,000 streams, earning strong editorial playlist backing from Spotify, Apple music and more. Recently featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s On Air Demo on CassKidd’s show, she received high praise from CassKidd, DJ Target and the wider 1Xtra team, and is set to record a live session at Maida Vale later this year.

Currently part of the ILUVLIVE x Stellar Songs artist development programme, Orla Rae has also toured Europe with Blue Lab Beats and supported the likes of Lynda Dawn and Sophie Faith. With a growing reputation for her captivating live performances, she continues to build momentum ahead of her second EP campaign, set for spring/summer 2026.
