MU

Returning after a hiatus to reset and make music, MULIMBA released his "You, Forever” EP in March 2026, finalising his comeback.

The British-Zambian’s genre-blending career constantly delivers Hip Hop-inspired gospel beats with Daft Punk-style hooks, providing one of the most aggressively original soundscapes for his indie vocals to shine on. A true alternative indie artist with his hands firmly wrapped around a sound that he’s spent his whole life curating. After being relentless in the studio over the last few years with the likes of FKA Twigs producer Manni Dee, MULIMBA has more songs ready to release following the EP, as well as music with the Gorillaz, Kneecap, & Louis VI collaborator Jelani Blackman. Everything up to this point, he has been researching and developing for these very tracks.

To understand MULIMBA, consider the artists Ash has opened for: Friendly Fires, Tom Walker, and Elderbrook. Along with playing festivals in Europe, he sold out solo headline shows at the Old Blue Last, Camden Assembly and recently at Paper Dress Vintage in October 2025, which all offer a small glimpse into his potential and ambition.

With gaining radio support on BBC 6 Music & BBC Introducing London for the whole EP as well as performing at some bespoke festivals last year, 2026 will have a busy summer of festivals and support tour dates ahead, including The Great Escape and SXSW London. His next headline show will be at The Grace in Islington, London, on Wednesday, 16th September.
