Celeste Ojatula is an alternative singer-songwriter and producer from Lagos, Nigeria. Her music is a fusion of genres and sounds; influenced by her love for life and stories. She believes music should transport you to a different place and time.

Her 2024 debut EP Alo (“tales”) introduced listeners to her world, pairing romantic, moon‑lit folk melodies with sharp storytelling on songs like “Olúronbí” and “Alu Join Join.” Press praised the project for “balancing nostalgia with bold futurism” and positioning Celeste as “the enigmatic force shaping Nigeria’s contemporary folk soundscape.” Her 2025 sold-out headline show in Lagos – Alo Live (from a Familiar Place) cemented her reputation for immersive, multi‑sensory performances that many have praised as “magical”.

Celeste and her team have successfully performed at major events like AFRIMA, Ake Book and Arts Festival, Lagos Fashion Week and more. She was also an ambassador for Mentally Aware Nigeria and Accountability Lab.

Now, Celeste is gearing up for "Our Time in the Sun" — a radiant, Afro-pop tinged EP arriving this May that expands her soulful palette into brighter textures. With her growing global audience, Celeste Ojatula is fast becoming one of the most interesting new voices in African music.
