Previously, Sunjay served as YouTube Lead at BMG UK, where he pioneered the label's first direct YouTube distribution deal and led groundbreaking marketing campaigns, optimizing artist channels and strengthening the label’s commercial relationships with YouTube and other DSPs. Before joining BMG, Sunjay worked at Warner Music Group in marketing and digital roles, managing campaigns for iconic catalogue acts, including Fleetwood Mac, Notorious B.I.G., Robert Plant & many more. Earlier in his career, Sunjay was Associate Editor at Nation of Billions and spent a year at Ticketmaster International, further honing his skills in digital innovation and fan engagement.
Over the years, Sunjay has worked on high-profile creator and artist campaigns for KSI, Rita Ora, alt-J, Craig David, Stefflon Don, Louis Tomlinson, Kylie Minogue and more, contributing to five UK #1 album projects and a Grammy- and Brit-winning single.
In 2024, Sunjay delivered a TEDx talk that combined his advocacy for Type 1 Diabetes awareness with his professional insights, highlighting the power of personal storytelling in creating impactful narratives.
