Sarah is Head of Development at Instinct Productions, where she oversees the company’s high-end scripted film, television and documentary slate, alongside day-to-day business operations. Previously, she was Senior Development Producer at BBC Studios, leading a slate focused on scripted comedy-drama.

Prior to the BBC, Sarah was Development Executive at Kudos Film & Television, where she worked on drama and comedy projects including Two Weeks to Live, Then You Run and Deep Water. Sarah has also worked extensively as a Script Editor on premium returning drama, including the first series of Killing Eve, as well as Downton Abbey, The Halcyon and Lucky Man.

Sarah has also held in-house roles at Carnival Films and NBCUniversal, and consulted for ABC Network as their UK Comedy and Drama Scout, identifying emerging writing and directing talent for the US market. Alongside her industry roles, she has worked as an advisor and mentor across international Netflix Grow Creative Fiction Labs, Channel 4 Screenwriting, and as a core tutor on the Serial Eyes programme at the DFFB (Berlin Film School).
